Weekly Message From Mrs. Ricard

  • We had a great week at RBE and are looking forward to the upcoming week! Please see the information below about things going on at RBE this week:

    • November is Military Family Month and Native American History Month.

    • If you have not yet responded to our Title 1 Parent Survey, please take a moment to access the link here: Spanish RBES Title 1 Parent Survey, RBES Title 1 Parent Survey. This will be the final opportunity to share your feedback.

    • Beginning on Monday, November 29, RBE parents are able to join your student(s) for lunch in the cafeteria since we are in moderate spread. You will be asked to sit at designated tables on our stage area and will be allowed to only dine with your child.

    • On Tuesday, November 30 our Strengthening Families Program continues on Zoom from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m.

    • Thursday, December 2 is National Special Education Day! We celebrate all students and our special education staff.

    • Car riders may be dropped off at 7 a.m. The tardy bell will ring at 7:40 a.m. after which you must come into the secured entry to sign in your child. Students are dismissed at 2:20 p.m.

    • All who enter our health room must wear a mask at all times because it is considered a healthcare facility. If your child is experiencing COVID symptoms, is a close contact, or has received a positive diagnosis, please complete the link found in the weekly reminders email. After you report, someone from the district will contact you to provide you guidance and a tentative return to school date. If your child is planning to return early from quarantine with a negative test result, please contact the school to make us aware and send in the negative results.

    • DHEC’s guidance states that students who were within 3 to 6 feet of an infected student and were wearing a mask during the exposure time are no longer considered a close contact and therefore do not have to quarantine regardless of whether or not the infected student was wearing a mask.

We look forward to seeing you all back at RBE on Monday where we will continue to Lead. Learn. Love….and Pass It On!
