Ms. Angela Thom

I am the Response to Intervention instructor for English Language Arts.  I work with the teachers and students to provide support, strategies, and reteaching for students who may have some academic struggles.  Although I do have specific students that I monitor, I am able to work with teachers to support additional students in their classrooms.

I love education and have worked in the elementary, middle and high school setting as a teacher and administrator.   I have taught students reading, English, social studies, even math.  I have worked with teachers  as a curriculum specialist, assistant administrator, assistant principal and principal. Proudly, I am currently working on my doctorate degree focusing on response to intervention.  As a RTI interventionist, I work with Schoology and Google Classroom to support teacher and student needs.
