• Wildcat Service Award - So many times, good deeds and service to others go unnoticed. Students in Action is looking for people to be nominated for a Wildcat Service Award. If you have someone (student, teacher/staff member, or community member) who stands out as doing good for others, please complete the survey to nominate them for this award.

To drive and park at LHS, there are four things that must be completed

1. Complete Alive at 25 Course. Alive at 25 link.

2. Pay $5 Parking Fee

   • If you took Alive at 25 prior to August 17, 2020, you will have the option to pay this during the online registration process.

   • After this date, you will pay this fee on-site at LHS - the exact amount only.

3. Complete Parking Form HERE. You will need the following:

   • PDF/Photo of Alive at 25 certificate (if you did not drive at LHS last year)

   • Vehicle Tag Number

   • Vehicle Make, Model, Car, and Type

   • Agree to Parking Rules & Regulations

4. Consent to Drug Testing - Download the form here.

   • You may email the signed form to Veronda Campbell at vcampbell@lexington1.net. You can also drop these off at LHS.

Traffic Flow Instructions:

  • Where to Enter at 5 Main Entry Points

  • Park closest to your 4th block & Parents Pick Up Students Closest to their 4th Block. 

• Morning drop-offs and afternoon pick-ups for students are in the two parking lots in front of the school.

• Parents should pick their students up from the front two parking lots.
  • If their 4th block class is on halls, A, B, C, LTC, OR GYM, they should be picked up from the front office parking lot.
  • If their 4TH block class is on halls  D, E, AND F, they should be picked up from the Counseling/Advisement parking lot.

• Parents cannot enter the bus parking lot or the area behind the school.

• Parents may go behind the school to pick up students from after school practices.

• Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our traffic flow safe.

The Lexington High School FIT Program (Food Improving Thinking) consists of providing nutritious food during the weekends and holidays when students who need meals may be left without an adequate supply of nutritious food.

The program provides individually packed food items that students can prepare by themselves. Seasonal fruit may be included. Bags of food will be delivered in a discreet manner once a week, for now on Tuesdays and Thursdays, then on Fridays throughout the normal school year. Anonymity will be assured.

Since we have a variety of students participating, it will not be possible for us to accommodate for food allergies. We ask that you and your student read the labels carefully to ensure your student’s safety.

Use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to easily check grades, access Naviance Family Connection (Grades 6–12), and more. Click here to go to the login page or click here for information regarding computer environments (web browsers, operating systems, and Java version) for PowerSchool.

Students: Log in using your username and password.

Parents: If you have not already created a PowerSchool Lexington One parent account, you can use the “Create Account” link on the PowerSchool parent login page. Once you create your PowerSchool parent account, you will need an Access ID and password for each of your children in order to view their grades and attendance. You can get those Access IDs in person inside the main office 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. You will need to show a PHOTO ID. Be sure to set the “Email Notification” settings, while you are in the PowerSchool Parent Portal if you would like to receive emails with information about your child’s grades and/or attendance.

Lexington County School District One Food Service and Nutrition is now using MealViewer digital media software to provide parents and students access to the following features:

As part of Lexington County School District One’s commitment to providing 21st-century learning tools for our teachers and students, we have begun using Schoology© as our district learning management system in grades 6–12.

Schoology© is a dynamic platform that allows teachers and students to work digitally and communicate with each other on both computers and mobile devices. With Schoology©, students can submit homework assignments, participate in interactive discussions, receive announcements and feedback, take assessments and collaborate with their peers. Teachers will monitor student progress and activity to ensure a safe, secure and controlled environment. Parents will also have access to the system and be able to view teacher and student activity.

Students: Use your school username and AA password to log into your account.

Parents: You can create a Schoology© parent account using your parent access code. Contact Ms. Grady to obtain your parent access code. You can also find directions for navigating your account.

The Help Desk is located in the Learning Commons. This year we are helping students by appointment using the Student Help Ticket system. Students can find the Student Help Ticket App under ClassLink/Launchpad. If a student cannot access the Help Ticket, please have a classmate create the ticket and in the details put the name of the student with the problem. Mrs. Harmon will contact the student to schedule an appointment.
