    Employ (2) teachers @ 2.0 FTE as Interventionist to provide additional academic instruction in small groups in grades kindergarten (0) through five (5) in reading and/or math during regular school hours. These positions are supplemental. They do not serve as Read to Succeed positions. Supplies include reading and math intervention materials.

    Provide software in the areas of ELA and Math. Units of Study in Phonics, Reading and Writing will be purchased for assisting with e-learning.Fact fluency for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division will be the focus of the purchased math software. Reading A to Z will provide students with additional leveled texts. All software purchased will support the implementation of the SCCCR ELA and Math standards.

    Provide supplies and materials such as classroom library books, school library books (learning commons), math manipulatives, and science materials that focus on SCCCR standards. All materials will be used to support the implementation of reading, writing, math and science workshop.
    Instruction Supplies and Materials 1.5 Purchase Caring School Community curriculum which promotes positive behavior through direct teaching of responsibility, empathy, and cooperation. Caring School Community seeks to strengthen students' connectedness to school by creating a classroom and school community that fosters academic motivation, achievement, and character formation. CSC incorporates elements important in children's social development, including supportive teacher-student relationships and opportunities for students to interact and collaborate in cooperative groups.

    Employ 1.0 FTE Parent Liaison to increase school and community relations, improve student attendance and reduce tardies, provide workshops with parents emphasizing literacy and math. Supplies will include leveled books in both English and Spanish, family educational games, manipulates, and books for reading, writing, and math will also be made available for parent check out.

    Parenting/Family Literacy Supplies and Materials 8.1 Supplies to support family engagement

    Provide and equip family engagement center with books and materials that parents can check out and use with their children for preschool through fifth grade. Expenditures may include supplies for Tiny Shining Stars weekly activities such as books and craft supplies. Games and math manipulatives will be purchased for family check out as well.

    Print or copy parent-school communications, such as newsletters, Title One information, Parent Handbooks with Title One/Calendar information, summer mailing with beginning of the year parent information, Parent School Leadership/Communication agendas (to include Title One information specific to SGES), and positive postcards to students.
    Parenting/Family Literacy Supplies and Materials 8.4 Parenting Materials and Supplies for parent events 188-410

    Conduct parent workshops, parent learning sessions (various times of day and throughout the school year), curriculum nights for families to support core academic instruction and the Arts. Provide materials and handouts during these events to assist parents in meeting student needs at home. Topics may include reading, writing, phonics, math, science, social studies, school counseling/social-emotional learning, behavior management, goal setting, study skills, academic nights, family engagement, and the Arts. Family engagement supplies will be purchased such as paper, ink cartridges, pencils, notepads, games, and other educational supplies to support family engagement.
