Degrees and Certifications:

Heidi Woolbright

My name is Heidi Woolbright, and I have been teaching fifth grade since 2010. I began my teaching career in Horry County at North Myrtle Beach Intermediate (now known as Waterway Elementary) where I taught fifth grade for four years. I continued my journey in Lexington Three at Batesburg Leesville Elementary as a teacher in fifth grade and also for the gifted and talented class. In 2016, I was lucky enough to be hired at Lake Murray Elementary School, and now I am so excited to be moving to middle school! I have a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a master’s degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Educational Administration.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Perry Woolbright, who is the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director at Lexington High School. We have three beautiful children: Brayden (14), Brody (11), and Brantlee (6). I am so lucky to have my two boys join me here this year! As you can imagine, I spend a lot of time at the football field either watching my son play (Go Bengals!) or watching the Wildcats! When not watching football, I enjoy going to the beach, reading a good book, or shopping.
