Hello! My name is Danielle Bliss and I am so excited to be joining the team at Saxe Gotha and being in Lexington 1! I moved from Georgia this summer, where I had spent the last 5 years. I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, where most of my family still lives. This is my 11th year teaching. I have taught everything from 1st - 5th grade at some point throughout my career. I graduated with my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College and obtained my Bachelor's degree from Wright State University in Early Childhood Education. I am currently working on my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership: Curriculum & Instruction. I also hold my Mathematics K-5 Endorsement, as well as K-12 Gifted and Talented Endorsement. My boyfriend and I reside south of Columbia. We have two pups, Bailey and Titan, and one cat, Bentley. In the little spare time I get, I love doing DIY projects and crafting. I also love being able to go hiking and watching football!

Hello all! My name is Erica Bohnsack, and I am proud to say this is my 21st year teaching. I was born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Elon University in 1999, and graduated with a Master of Education degree from Converse College in 2002. For the first fourteen years of my career, I taught in Rutherford County, NC. Most of my career there was spent teaching fourth and fifth grades. I was honored to be named Rutherford County School's Teacher of the Year in 2010. In 2014, my husband's job moved us to Lexington, SC. I immediately fell in love with Saxe Gotha Elementary because it reminded me so much of the school where I taught in North Carolina. This is my seventh year as a fourth grade teacher at Saxe Gotha. My husband, Bill, and I live in Lexington with our two sons (Luke and James) and our two beagles. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Most of my time out of school is spent watching Luke play baseball or watching James play basketball. I enjoy hiking in the mountains of my home state, North Carolina, going to the beach, and watching LSU football and UNC Chapel Hill basketball. Geaux Tigers and Go Heels! Teaching is not just my job. It is my passion!
