Adriana Garcia Bracho

Hello! I am Madame Garcia and I am so happy to be a part of the Mustangs family! I am from Venezuela and this is my first time in the United States, so exciting!
I have a Bachelor in Modern Languages Education and I have worked for more than 10 years teaching English, Spanish and French to kids, teenagers and adults. I confess that working with kids is what I like the most! I also worked at primary school level in France as a Spanish assistant, a very rich experience that let me learn a lot about  French culture. My husband Mario and my six-year old daughter Maria are very happy to be here too! Back in Venezuela, my husband used to breed pigs, we have many of them now! My daughter is in 1st grade here in MES, she likes her new school very much!

I love children! This is my 26th year in education and I have enjoyed every moment. It is exciting to watch students experience the joy of “ah ha” and “I got this!” moments. I grew up in West Columbia with an older sister and younger brother. I completed my Early Childhood degree at Winthrop University, and have a Masters in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. I renewed my National Board Certification in 2015. This year is an exciting year for my 2nd grade son, Joseph, and my moving up to middle school 6th grade daughter, Ellie. It may be a different year but it will be fantastic filled with fun and learning!
