Please note that beginning Wednesday, March 18th, our building will close to the public due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. If you need help with a question during our building closure, call 803-821-1401. This telephone number will be checked from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Monday through Friday. If, when you call, you receive a recording during those hours, we are currently on the line with someone else or unavailable.
WEEKLY MESSAGE FROM MR. MOODY
Below is some preliminary information about our next pick-up and drop-off day which will be on Wednesday, May 27 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and then from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. We still have almost 100 bags of students' personal belongings that haven't been picked up. If you haven't picked up your student's personal belongings yet, you'll want to come on the 27th to get your child's items. The 27th will also be your next opportunity to return the first, second, or third learning packet if you're ready to do so. You can also return textbooks, library books, books that belong to teachers, and any other items you've found around the house that belong to the school. Parents who want to look through our Lost and Found items will have a chance to do that, as well. If you want to look through Lost and Found items, a GPS employee will ask you to pull out of the rear car rider line and head toward the parking lot in the rear of our school. Lost and Found items will be hanging up on the fence for quick and easy identification. We will need to adhere to social distancing guidelines as folks look through Lost and Found items. If you'd like to purchase a GPS yearbook, we do have a few left to sell. After you've come through the rear car rider line to drop-off and pick-up items, you can pull around to the front of the school where a yearbook station will be set up near the front door. Yearbooks are $25 each and you can pay with cash or check. If you pay with cash, please bring the exact amount. I will send this information to you at least two more times to ensure you know what to do, where to go, and what to expect. As always, we appreciate your support and cooperation as we wind down this school year under very unusual circumstances. Please let us know of any needs you're aware of. Take care, be safe, and have a good evening.
You can call the school at 803-821-1400 (then press 1) or you can email the three administrators.
