Message From Our Principal
It's a great day to be a New Providence Elementary LION. We have so much to be thankful for at our school and every day we continue to embark on exciting new learning adventures. I want to thank our parents, once again, for the incredible support shown to our school/PTA. We couldn't do what we do without the support of such a loving community.
Did you know that each week, we have a badge challenge for our character education program? Each morning, homeroom teachers set aside 25 minutes to discuss social-emotional learning and it is during this time, students are presented with a badge challenge for the week. Please be sure to ask your child about this week's challenge!
Thank you for your help with getting students to school on time. Remember, we'd like for children to be dropped off between 7:05 and 7:30. This gets everyone in class for the morning news which is aired live at 7:35. If your child arrives at school after 7:40, you will need to escort him/her in.
Central Services is working on a new process for registration of students and details about 5K (Kindergarten) registration will be out soon. If you know of someone who has a child who will be 5 on or before September 1, 2021, let them know that information will be sent out soon!
I am looking forward to an exciting 7 1/2 weeks ahead! Stay tuned for a lot of information coming your way. GO LIONS!
